Mobile Self-Service Pet Grooming Terms of Service & Liability Agreement By booking or using the Mobile Self-Service Pet Grooming service (Service), the Client agrees to the following Terms of Service and Liability Agreement with Grooming On The Go LLC (Company).
1. Service Description The Company provides a mobile grooming van equipped with professional pet bathing and grooming equipment, products, and supplies for temporary self-service use by the Client. The Company will transport the grooming van to the agreed location and provide access to the equipment for the reserved time period. The Client is solely responsible for grooming, bathing, drying, handling, and supervising their pet(s) during the Service period. The Company does not provide grooming services, handling assistance, veterinary care, or supervision during self-service appointments unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Eligibility Requirements By using this Service, the Client confirms: They are at least 18 years old. Their pet is current on vaccinations as required by law. Their pet is free from contagious illnesses, parasites, fleas, ticks, and known aggressive behavior. Their pet can safely be handled in a grooming environment. They are physically capable of safely handling and grooming their pet. The Company reserves the right to refuse or terminate Service for any pet displaying dangerous, aggressive, or unsafe behavior.
3. Client Responsibility The Client accepts full responsibility for: The behavior, safety, and control of their pet(s) Proper use of all grooming equipment and products Any injury to themselves, their pet(s), or others resulting from misuse of equipment or failure to control their pet Any damages caused to the van, equipment, fixtures, or supplies during the Service period Children under 18 are not permitted inside the grooming van unless supervised by a parent or legal guardian.
4. Equipment Use & Safety The Client agrees to: Use all equipment only for its intended purpose Follow all safety instructions provided by the Company Immediately report malfunctioning equipment or unsafe conditions Never leave pets unattended in the grooming van Avoid using equipment in a negligent, reckless, or abusive manner The Company may terminate the session immediately if unsafe behavior occurs.
5. Assumption of Risk The Client understands and acknowledges that pet grooming activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to: Cuts, scratches, bites, or injuries from pets Slips and falls Burns from dryers or heated equipment Allergic reactions to grooming products Stress or injury to pets during grooming The Client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation in the Service.
6. Release of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Client releases and holds harmless Grooming On The Go LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, losses, or expenses arising from: Use of the grooming van or equipment Injury to pets, persons, or property Pet behavior or reactions Allergic reactions or sensitivities to products Equipment misuse by the Client Accidents occurring during the self-service appointment This release includes claims based on negligence except where prohibited by law.
7. Damage Policy The Client agrees to pay for any damage caused to: Grooming equipment Tubs, dryers, tables, hoses, or tools The interior or exterior of the grooming van Plumbing or electrical systems Company property damaged by the Client or their pet Repair or replacement costs may be charged to the payment method on file.
8. Cleanliness & Sanitation The Company sanitizes the grooming van and equipment between appointments. Clients agree to leave the grooming area in reasonably clean condition. An excessive cleaning fee may be charged for: Excessive pet waste Excessive shedding or mess Blood, urine, feces, or biohazard cleanup Damage caused by neglect or improper use
9. Appointment Times & Late Policy Service begins and ends at the scheduled appointment time. Late arrivals may result in reduced grooming time without refund. Additional time may be billed based on availability. The Company reserves the right to end appointments at the scheduled time regardless of grooming completion.
10. Payment & Cancellation Policy Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Cancellations within [24/48] hours of the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows may be charged the full appointment amount. Additional fees may apply for overtime use, damages, excessive cleaning, or policy violations.
11. Emergency Situations In the event of a medical emergency involving the pet, the Client authorizes the Company to seek emergency veterinary care if the Client cannot be reached immediately. The Client accepts full financial responsibility for veterinary expenses. The Company is not responsible for outcomes related to emergency care.
12. Right to Refuse Service The Company reserves the right to refuse or terminate Service at any time for reasons including but not limited to: Aggressive or dangerous pets Unsafe client behavior Suspected abuse or neglect Misuse of equipment Unsanitary conditions Violation of these Terms No refunds will be provided for terminated sessions resulting from policy violations.
13. Indemnification The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Grooming On The Go LLC from any claims, lawsuits, damages, costs, or legal expenses arising from the Clients use of the Service or violation of this Agreement.
14. Photo & Marketing Release (Optional) The Client grants permission for the Company to photograph pets and use images for marketing, advertising, and social media purposes unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.
15. Agreement & Acknowledgment By booking or using the Mobile Self-Service Pet Grooming Service, the Client acknowledges that they: Have read and understood this Agreement Voluntarily accept all terms and risks Agree to comply with all Company policies Accept full responsibility for themselves and their pet(s)
